“My love for Rosie was so powerful that it had caused my brain to make a grammatical error.”
~ Don Tillman, The Rosie Effect (by Graeme Simsion)
Quite frankly, if you’ve read The Rosie Project you probably don’t need any convincing to read The Rosie Effect so I’m not going to spend much time on the actual review here except to say:
- it’s even better than the first book
- it’s extremely well written
- it’s very funny
- it’s set in the USA, where they have both moved for Rosie’s studies
- Rosie gets pregnant. She and Don deal with this in their own unconventional ways, which you can imagine is excruciatingly hilarious, if you’ve read the first in the series (which, did I mention, you should).
Good news for Don Tillman and Rosie fans – there appears to be a third book in the pipeline.
